Welcome to JTooler ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of jtooler.com (the "Site") and all tools, features, and services offered through it (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using JTooler, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer(collectively, the "Legal Documents"). JTooler provides free, browser-based online tools for processing files, including but not limited to PDF tools, image tools, video tools, and file conversion utilities. Our tools process files locally on your device (client-side) and do not upload your files to our servers unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific tool.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the Site. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. User Conduct
In short: Use the Site lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to misuse, hack, scrape, or interfere with the Site or its services.
When using JTooler, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems or networks
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Site
- Upload, transmit, or process any content that infringes intellectual property rights of third parties
- Use automated systems, bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar technology to access, extract, index, or reproduce data or content from the Site without our express written permission
- Use the Site or its content for the purpose of training artificial intelligence or machine learning models without our prior written consent

All content, design, graphics, logos, icons, code, and the compilation of the Site are the intellectual property of JTooler and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content on the Site without our prior written consent.
6. User Content and Files
In short: Your files are yours. We never access, store, or claim rights to them.
You retain full ownership of all files you process using our tools. Since our tools process files locally in your browser, we do not access, store, or claim any rights to your files or their content. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to process any files you use with our tools and for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of all such files.
7. Third-Party Advertisements
The Site displays third-party advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense and other advertising networks. These advertisements may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized ads, as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party advertiser or their products and services. Your interaction with any advertiser, including any purchase or transaction, is solely between you and that advertiser. JTooler is not liable for any loss or damage arising from such interaction.

- Any defects or errors in the Site or its tools will be corrected
You use the Site and its tools at your own risk. We strongly recommend maintaining backups of all original files before processing them using our tools.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JTOOLER AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE OR ITS SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Site exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JTooler, its owners, operators, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (d) any content or files you process using our tools.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Site or Services.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms to the extent that such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, labor disputes, government actions, power failures, internet or telecommunications failures, or cyberattacks.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which JTooler operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall first be resolved through good faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation does not resolve the dispute within thirty (30) days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration or the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
15. Right of Withdrawal (EU Users)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection laws. However, as JTooler provides free services that are delivered and consumed immediately upon use, the right of withdrawal does not apply to your use of our tools. For any paid services we may introduce in the future, applicable withdrawal rights will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, invalid, or illegal, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Survival
The following sections shall survive the termination or expiration of these Terms: Section 5 (Intellectual Property), Section 9 (Disclaimer of Warranties), Section 10 (Limitation of Liability), Section 11 (Indemnification), Section 13 (Force Majeure), Section 14 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction), and this Section 17 (Survival).
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and JTooler regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
